The main function of flame retardant FARIDA TBC for EPS is to change its burning process.
The principle is like this: in combustion conditions, flame retardants generate strong dehydrating substance which makes plastics become carbonated and do not generate flammable volatile easily, to stop the spread of flames;Â after decomposition, the flame retardant generate non-flammable gas, which dilutes and blocks air to reduce and control the combustion, and makes the retardant EPS have the self-extinguish performance.
